Lucknow, Feb. 12 -- In a significant step towards making India a global leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI), union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday launched new AI-based academic programmes at IIM Lucknow during the Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave 2026.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said India is committed to playing a leading role in the development of ethical and responsible AI. He emphasised that integrating AI with management education, innovation, and social work is the need of the hour. India's vast youth force can contribute globally by developing indigenous AI models.
