New Delhi, Dec. 31 -- : The union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the widening and strengthening of the existing 2-lane stretch of National Highway 326 from Km 68.600 to Km 311.700 in Odisha. The project will upgrade the highway to a 2-lane road with paved shoulders under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode, at a total capital cost of Rs 1,526.21 crore, including Rs 966.79 crore for civil construction.
Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw, briefing the Cabinet decisions, said, "The upgradation of NH-326 will make travel faster, safer, and more reliable, resulting in the overall development of southern Odisha, particularly benefiting the districts of Gajapati, Rayagada, and Koraput."He emphasised tha...
