Chandigarh, Feb. 1 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab has issued a scathing critique of the Budget 2026-27, labeling it a "deeply disappointing" document that completely neglects the state's agricultural interests and its youth. Addressing the media, AAP Chief spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal stated that the budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has done grave injustice to Punjab, a state that remains the backbone of India's food security.
