Dharamshala, Feb. 2 -- The union Budget 2026-27 has provided a positive boost to tourism development in Himachal Pradesh with a strong focus on eco-tourism, adventure tourism, cultural circuits, skill development and connectivity, said Ashwani Bamba, President of the Hotel & Restaurant Association (HRA), Dharamshala, today.
Though no state-specific package was announced, Bamba said initiatives such as the development of Himalayan hiking trails, eco-tourism circuits, national tourist guide training, and the proposed National Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Skill Development would directly benefit the hill state.
