Chennai, Feb. 1 -- Ramesh Babu, MD and CEO of Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) on Sunday said the union Budget 2026-27 laid outa forward-looking roadmap to strengthen inclusive economic growth.
The continued focus on fiscal consolidation, including a reduction in the debt-to-GDP ratio, is expected to give banks greater flexibilityto expand priority sector lending, supporting economic stability and balanced urban-rural development, he said in a statement.
