Una, Nov. 3 -- The Una Municipal Corporation has launched a special awareness and inspection campaign to ensure compliance with regulations regarding the sale of tobacco products.
Joint Commissioner Manoj Kumar has appealed to all shopkeepers selling tobacco, cigarettes, bidis, gutkha, or other nicotine products to ensure they have a valid business license issued by the Municipal Corporation.
He stated that shopkeepers who do not currently have a license should apply to the Municipal Corporation office by November 10, 2025, and complete the necessary formalities. A format for the application can be obtained from the Municipal Corporation office.
