Mumbai, Jan. 22 -- The Bombay High Court on Thursday issued a notice to the Mumbai Police on a petition filed by UK-based doctor and YouTuber Sangram Patil, who has sought the quashing of an FIR registered against him over an alleged objectionable social media post targetting BJP leaders.

Patil has also challenged the Look Out Circular issued against him by the police, which led to him being stopped from leaving the country. The matter came up before a single bench of Justice Ashwin Bhobe, which directed the police to file an affidavit in response to the petition and posted the case for further hearing on February 4.
