New Delhi, Aug. 16 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has described the much awaited Urban Extension Road-II project as a "historic gift" for the city, and said that its commencement will not only move the national capital closer to becoming a traffic-free city, but will also strengthen connectivity across the NCR.
CM has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the efforts and development of the national capital.
Gupta along with senior officials and party leaders on Saturday visited the site for the inauguration of UER- II and its surroundings to review the preparations and issued necessary instructions ahead of its launch.
