Abu Dhabi/Aden, Jan. 3 -- The UAE has confirmed that it has evacuated all its military personnel from Yemen, in line with the decision taken by the Emirate's leadership to cease all its anti-terror, and military operations in the country, the Defence Ministry said on Saturday.

While no details were provided on troop numbers or equipment, multiple Emirati military cargo flights were observed travelling in and out of Yemen over the past few days.

The withdrawal, the ministry said, was carried out safely and in coordination with relevant partners.
