Hyderabad, Dec. 11 -- Marking two years of the Maha Lakshmi free bus travel scheme for women, Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar held a statewide video conference with officials from 97 RTC depots at Bus Bhavan on Wednesday.
He congratulated drivers, conductors, mechanics and staff for their continuous efforts to make the scheme a success, and was felicitated by the RTC Managing Director and Executive Directors on completing two years as Transport Minister.
Reviewing RTC's performance, the minister directed officials to identify new routes from Hyderabad to rural areas based on field-level surveys.
