Srinagar, Feb. 19 -- In a significant step towards strengthening tourism security through technological innovation, Jammu & Kashmir Police, in collaboration with Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), has launched a two-week workshop on Tech-Infused Tourism Policing at the District Police Lines (DPL) Srinagar.
The initiative, underway from February 16 to 27, aims to strengthen the professional capacity of police personnel in ensuring tourist safety and handling crisis situations through the use of advanced technological tools.
The inaugural session was presided over by SSP Srinagar, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, who delivered the keynote address.
