Agra, Oct. 26 -- Head Constable Gaurav Pratap Singh and constable driver Dev, both from the Nibohara police station, lost their lives, while five others sustained serious injuries, after a speeding Ertiga car rammed into a stationary truck on the Jaipur Highway in the Fatehpur Sikri area early this morning. The impact was so severe that the front portion of the car was completely crushed, and the roof was torn off.
According to police sources, the officers were returning from Suratgarh, Rajasthan, after conducting a raid. The accident occurred near a Reliance petrol pump on the Jaipur Highway. Preliminary investigation suggests that the driver dozed off behind the wheel, causing the vehicle to lose control and crash into the parked truck....
