Srinagar, April 7 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police have busted an interstate module of the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), arresting five individuals, including two suspected Pakistanis, official sources said on Tuesday.
J&K Police, however, have not issued any formal statement on the operation so far.
According to sources, the breakthrough came after a multi-week operation that led to the arrest of two Pakistani LeT operatives from Punjab's Malerkotla,One of the arrested has been identified as Abdullah alias Abu Hureira, a Pakistani operative who had evaded capture for nearly 16 years. The second accused, identified as Osman alias Khubaib, was also on the run for over a decade.
