Lucknow, Feb. 4 -- A woman advocate died after being hit by a speeding car in the Sarojini Nagar area of Lucknow on Wednesday morning. In a separate incident the today, a youth lost his life after his neck was slit by a Chinese kite string.
Smita Dwivedi (45), a practicing advocate, was critically injured after a speeding WagonR car rammed into her scooty near Gindan Kheda turn, opposite the airport runway on Kanpur Road, around 10 am on Wednesday. She was on her way to her parents home in Nagariya, Thakurganj.
