Kaithal, March 1 -- Two progressive farmers from Kaithal district were honoured for adopting natural farming at a two-day agricultural development fair held in Kurukshetra.
The fair was organised jointly by Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, and the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Haryana.
Dr Ramesh Verma, Chief Scientist at the local Krishi Vigyan Kendra, said that on the inaugural day of the fair on February 28, Pooja Devi, wife of Joni Rana and a resident of Bata village, was honoured by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for adopting natural farming practices.
