Imphal, April 7 -- T persons were killed and eight others seriously injured when security personnel fired at a mob marching towards a CRPF camp hours after two children were killed by suspected Kuki militants on Tuesday in Manipur's Bishnupur district.
The mob went on a rampage and to control the situation the CRPF personnel fired upon the protestors.
Two died on the spot while eight others sustained serious injuries.
CM Y Khemchand said he has directed operations to nab those responsible for killing the children .
He further said the case will be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
