Kushinagar (UP), Aug. 19 -- UP Police arrested two youths in the brutal murder of a 15-year-old girl in Kushinagar district, charging one of the accused with obsession with the victim and killing her in a fit of rage.
The incident took place in Morwan village under Ramkola police station limits on August 15, and the body was discovered the next day.
Police said the prime accused, Nilesh, had a romantic relationship with the girl. However, tensions arose when he found out she was in contact with another boy. "Jealousy and anger led Nilesh to attack the girl with a knife after an argument. The attack led to her death," said police. He then allegedly called his friend, Prince, and the two hid her body under a culvert before fleeing.
