Chandigarh, Jan. 29 -- The Gurugram Police have arrested two men for allegedly deceiving a woman into marriage by using a fraudulent religious identity and subsequently pressuring her to undergo a forced conversion. The accused, identified as Arif and Tarif, were taken into custody following a detailed complaint filed by the victim alleging impersonation, physical assault, and criminal intimidation.
According to the police, the primary accused, Arif, reportedly introduced himself to the woman as 'Aarav,' concealing his actual name and religious background to establish a relationship.
