Bokaro, Feb. 3 -- Bokaro police have cracked the sensational daylight attempted robbery at the Tanishq jewellery showroom located in Sector-4 City Centre and arrested two armed criminals from Begusarai. A country-made pistol and five live cartridges were recovered from their possession.
According to police sources, the incident took place on January 11 at around 4 pm, when seven armed miscreants stormed the Tanishq showroom, two of them dressed in police uniform.
The alertness of the showroom guard foiled the attempt. Getting suspicious, the guard stopped one of the accused, leading to a scuffle. As the criminals tried to snatch the guard's weapon, the alarm was triggered, forcing them to flee while brandishing firearms. The entire episod...
