Chennai, Feb. 13 -- A supporter of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) died at the public meeting addressed byParty Founder Vijay at Salem on Friday.
He was identified as Suraj a native of Maharashtra.
Reports received at the police headquarters here said the deceased was suffering from some ailment when heswooned and collapsed.
He was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance stationed at the meeting venue, but died on the way.
Initial reports said that he may have succumbed to heat and exhaustion after getting seizures.
The TVK district office-bearers rushed to the hospital where his body was kept and said he was suffering fromhealth issues.
