Washington/Tehran, Jan. 12 -- US President Donald Trump has said that Washington is considering "very strong options" against Iran, warning that the Islamic Republic had crossed his personal "red line" amid reports of escalating brutality against protesters.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said he was receiving "hourly reports" on developments in Iran as security forces continued a sweeping crackdown accompanied by a near-total internet blackout.
"They're starting to cross my red line, it looks like, and there seem to be some people killed that aren't supposed to be killed," he said.
