Agartala, Dec. 29 -- The Uttarakhand police have come under scrutiny for allegedly delaying the filing of an FIR against those responsible for the assault on 24-year-old MBA student Angel Chakma from Tripura.
The attack, which occurred on December 9 in Dehradun, has sparked outrage across Northeast. Student organizations in Tripura have been staging active protests against what they describe as a racially motivated attack on Angel and his younger brother Michael in the Selakui area.
