Agartala, June 14 -- Tripura has developed three varieties of climate-resilient paddies, which have flood-resilient characteristics, and even if the paddy plants remain underwater for a fortnight, the health of the crop will not get adversely impacted, said Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath here on Saturday.
Highlighting the success of the two-week-long Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA), Nath stated that it has created history in Tripura by reaching over 1.95 lakh farmers, including 67,000 women, surpassing the initial target of 1.72 lakh farmers.
