Agartala, Feb. 9 -- The Tripura government has embarked on a plan to set up a Bone Marrow Transplant Centre in Agartala, a long-anticipated facility that will significantly aid thalassemia patients throughout the state.
Addressing a gathering at the Free HLA Testing and Thalassemia Awareness Camp here, Health Secretary Gitte Kirankumar said that the state government has conducted kidney transplants and is working towards liver transplants.
