Agartala, Feb. 2 -- While Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha welcomed the union Budget 2026, saying it is anchored on three key pillars - last-mile delivery, inclusive growth, and infrastructure development, the opposition termed it a 'disaster for socio-economic growth.'The opposition CPI-M and Congress expressed disappointment with the impact of the union budget on the poor and marginalized sections of society. Reacting to the budget, Leader of Opposition and CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chaudhury said that the budget offers little to no relief for common citizens or the labour class.
