Agartala, March 30 -- Tripura Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced that the state has received an allocation of Rs 3,450 crore under the Centre's 'Pride of Hills' initiative for the fiscal year 2026-27.
Chowdhury expressed his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the launch of this scheme, which falls under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI).
He mentioned that this funding will aid in infrastructure development, boost tourism, and fulfill various financial needs across different sectors.
