Agartala, March 16 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday launched 24 advanced ambulances from the grounds, signalling a major enhancement to the state's emergency healthcare system.
Dr Saha stated that the inclusion of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances would greatly improve services for critically ill patients, particularly in emergencies and trauma cases.
Highlighting the challenges faced during hospital transport, he noted that the absence of advanced support systems has often led to tragic outcomes.
The new fleet is aimed at bridging this critical gap, ensuring timely medical intervention during transit to healthcare facilities.
