Agartala, March 21 -- Tripura Finance Minister, Pranajit Singha Roy on Friday presented the state's budget of Rs 30,296.5 crore with a deficit of Rs 429.56 crore for the financial year 2025-26 in the assembly at the beginning of 12 days long budget session.
While announcing as many as 13 new schemes for the vulnerable sections of the society including Mukhyamantri Sashya Shyamala Yojana to promote high-yielding variety, CM's Tribal Development Mission to provide quality coaching to tribal students for all India competitive exams, Mukhyamantri Konya Bibaha Yojana to cover the wedding cost of girl child of Antyodaya family and a special scheme for mass marriage ceremony for the poor.
