Agartala, Jan. 29 -- The Tripura government has designated land for private investors to undertake industrial projects with investments of over Rs 5,000 crore, said Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Kiran Gitte on Thursday, attending the foundation stone laying ceremony for Airtel Data Centre here.
The efforts are part of investment proposals amounting to Rs 19,600 crore, which were received during various investment summits. Gitte said that memorandum of understanding (MoUs) of Rs 15,800 crore were executed during the Rising North East Investment Summit.
Out of the committed Rs 19,600 crore, around Rs 5,090 crore has already been mobilised, with land allocated for the establishment of industrial units. He mentioned that approximately 1...
