Agartala, Jan. 22 -- In a significant anti-drug operation, Tripura Police's Crime Branch has successfully destroyed a large consignment of banned Eskuf syrups that were seized at Jirania Railway Station in October last year.

Police had seized around 107,000 bottles of Eskuf valued at approximately Rs 2.12 crore, making it the largest confiscation of its kind in the region. IGP Ramesh Reddy stated that after following proper legal procedures and obtaining court approval, the entire shipment has been destroyed.
