New Delhi/Hyderabad, March 9 -- Tribal Co-operative Marketing Federation of India (TRIFED) and Telangana Girijan Cooperative Corporation Limited on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement the Minimum Support Price (MSP) scheme for Minor Forest Produce (MFP) collected by tribal farmers in Telangana.
The MoU was signed in New Delhi by Sabysachi Ghosh and M Rajamurugan.
Under the agreement, TRIFED will function as the nodal agency at the national level for implementing the scheme, while the Telangana Girijan Cooperative Corporation Ltd., operating under the state's Tribal Welfare Department, will act as the implementing agency in Telangana.
