Deoghar, Jan. 22 -- A collision between the Gorakhpur-Asansol passenger train and a truck on Thursday led to two motorcycles being hit in the process near the Navadih railway crossing on the Deoghar-Devipur main road, disrupting road and rail traffic for hours, police and rail officials said.
The accident occurred when the train, traveling from Jasidih towards Asansol, and a truck moving from Deoghar to Devipur came face-to-face at the railway crossing. It is alleged that the railway gate was open at the time of the incident, allowing the truck to cross the tracks.
