New Delhi, Dec. 17 -- : The Delhi Traffic Police and transport department enforcement teams will be stationed at petrol pumps and border checkpoints as the ban on the entry of non-BS VI vehicles registered outside Delhi comes into effect from Thursday.

Officials said the Transport Department has around 78 to 80 enforcement teams that will be deployed at key border points, including Kundi, Rajokri, Tikri, Aya Nagar, Kalindi Kunj, Auchandi, Mandoli, Kapashera, and the Bajghera toll on the Dwarka Expressway, among others.

From Thursday, vehicles without a valid pollution under control certificate (PUCC) will not be supplied fuel at petrol pumps across the city.
