Nizamabad, Jan. 12 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Monday exuded confidence that the Congress would dominate the upcoming municipal elections, including the Nizamabad Municipal Corporation, riding on recent successes and the government's welfare-driven governance.

Addressing a press conference here, Goud said the Congress had won a majority of sarpanch seats in Nizamabad, making it one of the first five districts in the State to achieve the feat.

"In the forthcoming municipal elections, the Congress flag will be hoisted not just in this district but across Telangana," he said.
