Bengaluru, Jan. 13 -- Kannada actor Yash's upcoming film 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups' has landed in controversy with allegations of obscenity against its teaser, prompting the Karnataka State Women's Commission to seek action from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) following a complaint by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
The teaser of 'Toxic', released on January 8 to coincide with Yash's 40th birthday, introduced him as a character named Raya and marked his first project after the blockbuster 'KGF: Chapter 2' in 2022.
While the teaser quickly went viral and drew widespread attention, it also attracted criticism from certain political and social groups, who alleged that some visuals were obscene and sexually explicit.
