Chennai, Feb. 13 -- The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 on Friday approved Sam Topping as a replacement for Paul Stirling in the Ireland squad.
Topping was named as a replacement after Stirling was ruled out for sustaining knee ligament damage while fielding during Ireland's match against Australia on February 11.
The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can be officially added to the squad.
