New Delhi, Jan. 25 -- India and Europe have made a clear choice, of strategic partnership, dialogue and openness, showing a fractured world that another way is possible, said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday, setting the stage for the EU's engagement with India over the next two days, and the likely conclusion of the mega FTA, which she has termed as the "mother of all trade deals".
Von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa, who are on a state visit to India, were on Sunday evening accorded a ceremonial welcome and a guard of honour.
