Chennai, Feb. 6 -- Tamil Nadu Governor R.N.Ravi called on Dr. Patrick Herminie, President of Republic of Seychellesin the city on Friday evening.
Lok Bhavan sources described it as a courtesy call held at a star hotel where the Seychelles President was staying.
During the meeting, the Governor presented a book on Tamil couplet Tirukkural written by Saint Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar.
Dr Patrick who landed here yesterday on a state visit to India, was received at the airport by Tamil Nadu Miinister for AdiDravidar Welfare M Mathiventhan and Greater Chennai Corporation Mayor Ms R.Priya.
