Chennai, Jan. 30 -- Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi, Chief Minister M K Stalin, his
Cabinet colleagues and leaders of various political parties paid floral tributes to the
Father of the Nation and Apostle of Peace Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary
on Thursday.
After paying tributes to a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Bhavan, Mr Ravi visited
the Gandhi Mandapam and paid floral tributes and administered the pledge against
untouchability.
Mr Stalin visited the Government Museum premises at Egmore in the city and paid
floral tributes to a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi.
Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, State Ministers and senior officials of the
government also paid their tributes to the Father of the Nation on the occasion.
