Chennai, Feb. 17 -- The economic scenario in Tamil Nadu continues to serve as a major growth engine, supported by a strong manufacturing foundation, swift growth in the services sector, and consistent investments from both the public and private sectors, according to the Interim Budget presented in the State Assembly by Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu on Tuesday.
Mr Thennarasu said in the year 2024-25, Tamil Nadu achieved the unique distinction of being the only major State to record a double-digit economic growth.
