Chennai, April 7 -- Rattled by West Bengal Chief Minister and All India Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee's charge of the DMK and the Congress colluding with the Election Commission of India (ECI), Congress leaders from Tamil Nadu on Tuesday condemned her statement as 'irresponsible' and jumped to the defence of the Dravidian major, making it clear that no other Chief Minister has been so consistent and persistent in opposing the saffron brigade like MK Stalin.
