Chennai, March 2 -- The dalit outfit Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) on Monday held first round of seat sharing talks with the ruling DMK, heading the Secular Progresive Alliance (SPA), ahead of the ensuing Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and said it has sought seats proportionate to its strength and electoral presence.
During the meeting, the VCK was reported to have asked for seven seats in Tamil Nadu and three in Puduchery--which also goes to the polls along with Tamil Nadu--including a Reserved seat.
