Tirumala, Feb. 24 -- Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Tuesday instructed officials to lay special focus towards the disposal of scrap that has been accumulated for several years in various departments of TTD.
During the monthly coordination meeting with officials of different departments here, Chowdary directed the officials to identify the scrap available in all departments of TTD and submit a detailed report within 15 days.
He also instructed that a schedule should be prepared in every department for scrap disposal once in six months. Necessary steps should be taken to ensure that the scrap is disposed of regularly through auction.
