Chandigarh, Feb. 16 -- The authorities at the Attari-Wagah border have announced a strategic revision in the timings for the daily Joint Retreat Ceremony. Attari Border Protocol Officer, Arun Mahal, informed the media that the schedule for the parade has been adjusted in accordance with the changing sunset timings and seasonal light conditions to ensure the ceremony concludes smoothly.

Under the newly implemented schedule, effective from February 16, 2026, the retreat parade will now commence at 5:00 pm and conclude at 5:30 pm. Previously, the ceremony was conducted between 4:30 pm. and 5:00 pm.
