Patna, March 28 -- Bihar Agriculture Minister Ramkripal Yadav on Saturday said the government is maintaining strict surveillance on fertilizers supply to ensure its timely and adequate supply across Bihar.
Yadav said here that the fertiliser supply is under strict surveillance to ensure farmers receive adequate quantities on time and at regulated prices.
He asserted that any lapse will invite stringent action.
Yadav conducted a high level review meeting during the day to assess fertiliser availability in the backdrop of rising geopolitical tensions in West Asia and their potential impact on agricultural inputs. Senior officials from all divisions and districts participated in the meeting virtually.
