Jammu, Feb. 6 -- Tight security arrangements are in place in Jammu as union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived here on Thursday evening on a three-day visit to the UT.

The union Home Minister was received at Jammu airport by J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.

Shah is set to chair a security review meeting, visit the International Border and also assess developmental projects.

Officials said that on Friday, Shah will inspect the area of responsibility of Border Outpost Gurnam and will also visit Border Outpost Bobiya in Hiranagar belt of Kathua district.

They said that the Shah will also e-inaugurate and lay the e-foundation of six welfare schemes for border security personnel.
