Meerut, Feb. 20 -- Extensive security arrangements have been put in place ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Meerut on February 22, where he is scheduled to inaugurate the remaining section of the Namo Bharat train corridor and the Meerut Metro project.

The Prime Minister will remain under three-layer security cover, with the Special Protection Group (SPG) taking charge of his security from the helipad to the station and rally venue. The area has been declared a no-fly zone, and SPG Director General Alok Sharma is also expected to oversee the arrangements.

The security convoy will include bulletproof vehicles, armored cars, ambulances, and jammer-equipped vehicles, with around 100 personnel deployed in the immediate security...
