Thrissur, Jan. 12 -- With just a day to go for the opening of the 64th edition of the State School 'Kalolsavam', Asia's biggest arts fete, Thrissur, the host city, is fully decked up, to receive artists and art lovers alike.
The festival is being held in Thrissur after a gap of seven years.
The Kalolsavam will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on January 14 at the main venue - Suryakanti (Thekkumkadu).
About 14,000 school students from across the state will compete in 249 categories at 25 venues in the city. The winning district team will get 117.5 sovereign gold cup.
