Sangli, Sept. 10 -- Three members of a family, including a middle-aged couple and their grandson, were killed on the spot and four others were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a speeding car and a two-wheeler on Bhilwadi road near Tasgaon town in this district today.
According to police, the couple along with their grandson were returning to their home at Kakadwadivillage from their relatives place on a two-wheeler this evening, when a car coming at speed from opposite direction collided head-on with their two-wheeler.
In this incident, the couple and their grandson were killed on the spot while four passengers from the car were seriously injured.
