Mumbai, March 28 -- Three minors, who are suspected drug addicts, were arrested by police for allegedly killing a 55-year-old man in Dharavi area of central Mumbai. According to the Police, the victim, who was sleeping on the footpath, was hacked to death for refusing to part with a match box.
After detaining them, the police produced the accused before the Juvenile Court at Dongri, which ordered them to be kept in the observation room.
The police said that the identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained, and the accused, under the influence of drugs, attacked him with a sharp object, resulting in his death.
